Pour leftover grits into a coffee cup or leftover soup or tomato paste can. Store in the refrigerator until they properly set — about two hours. Pop out of the cup and slice into 1 inch thick coins.

Heat oil in shallow pan and fry until nice and brown. Serve topped with Carolina Creole®.

Note: if you use a soup can, simply cut the bottom with a can opener and slowly push the grits through and slice. It will result in perfectly sized rounds. Use a tomato paste can for appetizers!
